Berries, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, combine with milk, Greek yoghurt, honey and mint to create a drink that is smooth enough to impress! This cold drink is packed with antioxidants, fibre, vitamins, a good dose of protein and couldn’t be more delicious! It’s the epitome of berry vibes in beverage form!
Blending happiness, one smoothie at a time! My Mixed Berry Smoothie recipe is the healthy beverage you’ll be making on repeat this summer season. This recipe starts off with a couple of cups of mixed berries, including blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. I love grabbing a bag of frozen mixed berries and using them in the recipe given their overall convenience and optimal ripeness. These berries are picked and frozen when perfectly ripe, enabling you to enjoy sweet berries year-round. Greek yoghurt and milk are added to the mix, imparting creaminess, richness and tanginess. A few spoonfuls of honey give this smoothie added sweetness and complexity. Adjust the sweetness to your heart’s content! One spoonful for a subtle sweetness and two teaspoons for a little more decadence. Although mint is not a common ingredient in your average smoothie, this fresh herb gives the drink some extra brightness and a cooling and refreshing finish. The combination of ingredients creates a bright, sweet, tangy, refreshing and satisfying sip!
If summer was a smoothie, this Mixed Berry Smoothie would be it! My Mixed Berry Smoothie recipe comes together in 5 minutes, uses a handful of simple and everyday ingredients and couldn’t be easier to make! Just toss all the ingredients into a blender and blend until frothy, silky and smooth. Enjoy it for breakfast, post-work out, as an afternoon snack or for dessert. You really can’t go wrong! So, let me show you how it’s done. Grab a spoon and come and cook with me!

Notes:
Fresh Versus Frozen: I love using a bag of frozen mixed berries, including blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, in this recipe. The berries are flash frozen when they’re at their ripest, making them a sweet, convenient and low-cost option when fresh berries aren’t readily available at your local grocer. Frozen mixed berries allow you to enjoy this delicious beverage year-round without worrying about availability and seasonality of the fruit. If you’d like to use a variety of fresh berries in this recipe, simply substitute them for frozen on a 1:1 basis. Rinse the fresh berries, pat them dry and toss them into a blender with a handful of ice cubes for a frosty finish!
