My Iced Irish Coffee with Cold Foam recipe is comprised of freshly brewed, strong coffee, Irish whiskey, brown sugar cold foam and nutmeg. Bold coffee is served over ice and spiked with a good dose of Irish whiskey, imparting spiciness, sweetness and warmth to this cold drink. The iced coffee is finished off with a thick, cloud-like layer of cold foam, sweetened with brown sugar. If you’ve never had cold foam, you’re missing out! Cold foam is simply a combination of heavy cream and milk that is aerated or frothed until creamy, frothy and foamy. The cold foam adds a luxurious and airy texture that elevates every sip from good to unforgettable. A pinch of aromatic nutmeg is sprinkled over top to balance out all the flavours of this iced coffee cocktail.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
Iced Irish Coffee
6 ounces freshly brewed, strong coffee
1 ½ ounces Irish whiskey, such as Jameson Irish whiskey
A handful of ice cubes
Pinch of nutmeg
Brown Sugar Cold Foam
2 Tbsp heavy cream (See Notes below)
1 Tbsp 2% milk (See Notes below)
½ tsp brown sugar, packed (See Notes below)
Instructions:
To a small mug or mason jar, add the heavy cream, milk and brown sugar. Using a milk frother, aerate the mixture until foamy and slightly thickened. Be careful as to not overmix as this process can result in whipped cream when overprocessed.
Fill half a tall, heat-proof glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee over top. Add the Irish whiskey and stir until combined.
Top the Iced Irish Coffee with a few spoonfuls of cold foam. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg and serve and enjoy!

Notes:
Milk Frother: If you don’t have a milk frother handy, don’t fret! Simply add the ingredients to a mason jar, cover and shake until foamy and frothy! Or, use a whisk to achieve comparable results.
